CBC is run by the Conservative group. However, the group has just lost its second Councillor this month, to become independent.
In early December, Cllr Nicola Harris left, and now Cllr Steve Watkins, who was a deputy has resigned and written publicly criticising CBC conservatives for siding with officers. This is something I have publicly called the Conservatives out for with their constant ivory tower tactics. All Councillors are elected to serve the residents and not an out-of-date boys club.
It is no surprise to anyone that whilst the Conservatives concentrate on infighting the real impact of this will be felt within our communities.
