Yesterday was Dunstable's first ever Pride!!

The event served residents from across Dunstable and Houghton Regis, and featured stands from community groups from both towns and beyond. Amongst them was Noah, the NSSL group, religious leaders from both communities, and Friends of Windsor Drive!

It was a truly wonderful celebration of the diversity of our towns and their residents, and we hope it becomes an annual event! A big thank you to Central Bedfordshire College and everyone who helped to organise the event, all of the community stands, and every single resident who came out to show their support yesterday. Together we have shouted loud and proud that love is love!

Cllr Chloe Alderman believes in giving back to the community. As part of her 20% pledge, she made a donation towards Central Bedfordshire College's first ever Pride in Dunstable event.

If you have any ideas about charities or causes that serve the residents of Houghton Regis that could benefit from Cllr Alderman's 20% Pledge then let us know in the comments below
