Yesterday, following their AGM, Friends of Windsor Drive Open Community Space invited Cllr Chloe Alderman to cut the opening ribbon for the defibrillator!
Cllr Chloe Alderman believes in giving back to the community. As part of her 20% pledge, she donated funds towards the new defibrillator, alongside money raised by the coffee and cake sessions run by Windsor Drive, and a donation from the Labour Branch from our cake sale at Houghton Regis Carnival last year! The defibrillator is located in the old BT phone booth outside of The Brook on Windsor Drive, and Houghton Regis Town council will be responsible for it's upkeep.
Thank you Friends of Windsor Drive for campaigning and fundraising for this lifesaving piece of equipment!! You can see their post about yesterday here: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1FJKne7kfW/
